Summit Legal Publishing is operated and managed by an Editorial Management Board consisting of five managing editors. All are graduates of accredited U.S. law shools. They have a combined sixty years’ experience in legal publishing, as well as experience in other areas such as litigation and general practice of law.
All editorial work at Summit is directly and personally managed by this Board. All editorial work is done locally in northeast Ohio, and our books are manufactured entirely in the U.S. No work is outsourced or off-shored by Summit Legal Publishing.
Summit Legal Publishing LLC — Board of Managing Editors
George Bandy worked for 9 years as an Attorney Editor at Thomson Reuters (West), after practicing law for eight years, emphasizing litigation, teaching political science and serving as department head and instructor in a degree-granting paralegal program. As a Summit Legal Publishing Managing Editor George has been responsible for website development and internet advertising and has worked on new product and process development, graphic design and indexing. George holds a B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. from the University of Akron.
Amy L. Clark spent 15 years as an Attorney Editor with Thomson Reuters (West) and three years as a civil litigator before becoming a Managing Editor at Summit Legal Publishing. At Summit, Amy’s primary responsibilities include customer relations, business development and marketing, content development and electronic publication processing and conversion. Amy is a graduate of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and did her undergraduate work in History at Syracuse University in New York, graduating summa cum laude.
Kenneth P. Hall was an Attorney Indexer at Thomson Reuters (West) for over 16 years. Ken also did editorial work on the Codes Ohio team focusing on statutes, regulations and court rules. As a Managing Editor at Summit Legal Publishing, Ken is the primary indexer and also works on product development and review. Ken earned his J.D. from the C. Blake McDowell School of Law at the University of Akron and his B.A. in Economics from Youngstown State University.
Lori Hlucky came to Summit Legal Publishing as a Managing Editor after nearly 14 years of experience at Thomson Reuters (West). Lori’s primary responsibilities at Summit include the development of new editorial processes and procedures based on utilization of commercial desktop publishing software, web-research and content development and public relations. A summa cum laude graduate of Ashland University, Lori received her J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Kristie Tibbitts worked in the legal publishing industry at Thomson Reuters (West) for 11 years. During her tenure as a Managing Editor at Summit Legal Publishing, Kristie has worked on graphic design and indexing. Kristie earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review, and graduated summa cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Graphic Communications.


With offices located in Akron, Ohio, the Editorial Board of Summit Legal Publishing, LLC comprises five Managing Editors who hold J.D. degrees and have over 60 years of combined experience in the legal publishing industry.
